Biography
Washing Machina is a Stockholm-based band that was formed in the spring of 2021. The creative spark was ignited when Mark, Karl, and Sara began exchanging musical ideas and soon saw their songs come to life. With the addition of Emelie on drums, the band found the missing piece that solidified their sound.
Drawing inspiration from influential bands such as Foo Fighters, Sonic Youth, Breeders, Smashing Pumpkins, Pavement, and Dinosaur Jr, Washing Machina blends elements of alternative and indie rock to create their unique sound. The band has already made a mark on the Swedish music scene with several successful shows and recently sold out the legendary indie rock club Heaven Up Here in Stockholm. With their captivating sound and electrifying live performances, Washing Machina is poised to make an impact on the music world.

Perfect Misfits EP – Released 15/11 2021
“Perfect Misfits” was the band’s debut 5-track EP, released digitally on all major streaming platforms and in a limited vinyl edition by Epicuro Records. Three music videos were also released for the title track “Perfect Misfits,” “Kim,” and “Find the Beat.”

Last bag on the belt EP- Released 26/1 2023
The second 5-track EP from the band was released early in 2023 and was preceded by two single releases in 2022, “I If Were an Astronaut” and “Decide.” Music videos were created for both singles and for the title track.
